Malaria is the 2nd leading cause of death from infectious diseases in Africa, after HIV/AIDS. Over half a million people die from malaria every year, mostly children younger than five years old. Only about 5% of children sleep under a net, and every day 3,000 children die from the disease.
We provide families with long-lasting nets that reduce exposure to mosquito bites and the killer disease of malaria. We also educate them on the importance of daily use. The nets are particularly beneficial for the protection of children who are less resistant to malaria.
YOU can help provide the needed mosquito nets to families in Africa so that they can be protected from malaria. Your donation will especially help young children who are vulnerable to the disease. Your support has significant long term impact on saving their lives.
